Start with the file formats and storage systems you actually use. Separate reading, conversion, and file management capabilities because they require different permissions. Check path restrictions, symbolic link handling, and whether processing occurs locally or remotely. Review the license, repository maintenance, and operational documentation. For both official and community servers, look for clear explanations of access boundaries and behavior when a conversion fails.
Broad file access can expose contracts, personal records, and configuration files containing secrets. Restrict accessible folders and use read-only permissions when sufficient. Documents may contain instructions designed to redirect the agent or extract information. Apply appropriate checks before deletion, modification, or onward transfer. Review temporary files, logs, and remote conversion destinations to understand where document contents may persist after processing.
